General Manager, Jim Gadziemski earns APICS CSCP Designation

Grand Rapids, MI, (1/28/2013) – Jim Gadziemski of Columbian Logistics Network was recently recognized as an APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP). APICS CSCP is a program offered by APICS, the Association for Operations Management.

Jim is presently General Manager of Columbian Logistics Network in Grand Rapids, Michigan where he oversees and manages seven warehouses and another in Detroit, Michigan.

Introduced in 2005, the APICS CSCP program takes a broad view of the supply chain field, extending beyond internal operations to encompass all the steps throughout the supply chain – from the supplier, through the company, to the end customer – and provides the candidate with the knowledge to effectively manage the integration of these activities to maximize a company’s value chain. To qualify for the APICS CSCP designation, a candidate must complete a rigorous course of study and a comprehensive examination.

“I am proud to have earned the APICS CSCP designation. It represents a commitment to excellence. Companies and individuals can benefit from the APICS body of knowledge to build operations management excellence,” Jim said.
