Legendary Customer Service Award – Q4 Winners

Columbian Logistics Network is driven by its core values, and one of the most important values is ‘Legendary Customer Service’, defined as “Doing whatever it takes to ensure that our customers’ needs are anticipated and met.”  Columbian Logistics Network promotes this ethic with a nomination process through which customers and employees can recognize individuals who have gone above and beyond in their daily work. The Legendary Customer Service Award is open to all employees who consistently deliver ideal service and results, providing responsible, flexible, and cost effective solutions to meet customer needs. Each quarter, a team selects two nominees to receive the Legendary Customer Service Award, one an ‘external’ or customer nominated employee, and the other an ‘internal’ nominee recommended for service to his or her  fellow employees.

Columbian Logistics is pleased to announce the Legendary Customer Service Award winners for the fourth quarter of 2015 are Derek Kent & Candy Starr! Congratulations Derek and Candy, for providing the Legendary Customer Service that moves our customers ahead!

Welcome new Process Improvement Engineer Alan Haynes

10 years experience developing and managing process design solutions for a diverse range of manufacturing and distributing companies such as GE Healthcare, M&M Quality Solutions and Generac. Haynes will be working throughout Columbian’s facilities and transportation groups to help identify and implement process improvements to enhance the quality and efficiency of services. He will spearhead Columbian’s LEAN journey, with special focus in 2015 on value stream mapping, facility layout and material & information flow.

“I’m looking forward to helping Columbian on it’s journey of continuous improvement. I’m excited to join an organization that lives its core values like Columbian Logistics Network. ” Said Haynes.

June 9, 2014– Sprinter Services Inc., a transportation division of Columbian Logistics Network, has multiple driving positions open and will be hosting an employment open house for CDL-A drivers. Applications and employment information will be available on site.  Human resource specialists and driver supervisors will conduct interviews. Sprinter offers competitive pay and benefits!

  • Local Positions – home everyday
  • Regional Runs – home every other day and every weekend
  • Weekend only positions
